Posted on 14 Apr 2021

Life Connections is delighted to announce that the e-course TRHIVING TWEENS has just been launched.

It is an innovative and creative, e-learning resource that includes puppetry to create a fun, educational experience for children aged 11 to 13 years. Children will be supported to build their emotional toolkit, making transitions to secondary school and the adolescent developmental phase less stressful.

Topics?

  • Relationships
  • Boundaries and Safety
  • Communication and Connection
  • Critical Thinking Skills
  • Body Awareness
  • Feelings and Healthy Coping Skills

What do I get?

  • Bite sized manageable video content, accessible on smartphones, tablets and PC's
  • 37 subtitled video lessons - 180 minutes of tuition
  • Downloadable and printable course workbook for the children

Who is is for?

The course is for children aged 11 to 13 years, but it can be acquired for the children by either

  • Parents and Guardians of this age group
  • Teachers of 6th class

In addition we have a course THRIVING TOGETHER for parents/guardians to learn tips about hosting these conversations in the family. Leaving our children to find out information about friendships and relationships, sex and sexuality, bodies, feelings and communication from their phones, their peers or the school yard, means our children are more likely to form views on relationships and sexuality that are not healthy and balanced and perhaps not even factual. Now is the time to talk before the teenage years arrive.
