Join the Youth Work Ireland Our Generation Team as they share learning about their work with15,217 young people and youth workers. Working with the University of Ulster the team undertook extensive evaluation and review of the four programmes delivered over the past three years in Cavan, Monaghan, Donegal, Leitrim and Sligo. The team will share insights gained from evaluations, scoping reviews, reflective practice and observations on the following programmes: 

  • Be Well: Supporting Young People to Understand and address Anxiety
  • YES: Youth Empowerment in Sexual Health and Consent
  • Stand UPP: A Youth Work Programme to Understand Power and Prevention in Gender Based Violence
  • Youth Fund: A Personal Development Programme for Young People

1:00-1:30    Sign in, networking and light refreshments.
1:30-1:45    Introductions & overview of achievements & impacts from the four programmes.
1:45-2:00    Learning & outcomes from each of the four programmes.
2:00-2:15   Staff reflections on learning: Challenges, opportunities & effective strategies.
2:15-2:25   Q & A with project staff.
2:25-3:00   Workshops & taster activities: Opportunities for youth workers to develop new skills & knowledge based on key programme activities.
