Leadership Essentials in Global Health: Summer Programme - Trinity College Dublin, 19-24 Aug

The Irish Global Health Network is proud to announce the launch of "Leadership Essentials in Global Health," a five-day intensive summer programme designed to equip participants with practical skills for leading global health programmes. Hosted by the the IGHN at the Centre for Global Health in Trinity College Dublin, the programme will take place from August 19-24, 2024. 

With a focus on addressing the training needs of aspiring professionals in the global health sector, this programme offers the opportunity for participants to enhance their leadership capabilities, broaden their technical expertise, and contribute to positive change in global health practice. 

Key highlights of the programme include: 

  • Tailored Practical Curriculum: Participants will engage in interactive sessions, workshops, and case studies covering topics such as project management, community engagement, health equity, and more. 
  • Expert Facilitators: Reputable and experienced experts and practitioners in global health will lead sessions, providing valuable insights and practical guidance based on their years of experience in the field. 
  • Networking Opportunities: Participants will have the chance to connect with peers, mentors, and industry leaders, fostering collaborations and expanding their professional network. 
  • Scholarship Opportunities: IGHN is offering two tuition scholarships to support individuals with limited financial resources who demonstrate a strong commitment to advancing global health.
