Date: Wednesday 23rd September 2020

Time: 11am – 12 noon

This event will take place online via Zoom

Join us for our Autumn 2020 Research Briefing, featuring John O’Mahony, Director, B&A, delivering the keynote presentation.

Talk title: Drinking behaviours and attitudes in Ireland in the context of COVID-19.

This presentation will provide a comprehensive overview of our Barometer survey that was conducted by Behaviour & Attitudes during April and May 2020. This research was undertaken in order to provide an overview of adults’ drinking behaviours in Ireland during Lockdown and to monitor attitudinal measures in relation to related issues by examining in-depth drinking behaviours and attitudes of Irish adults in the context of COVID-19. The extensive findings gathered give an indication of the behaviour change regarding drinking habits that may be starting to form as a result of the pandemic, and changes to the way Irish adults drink that are happening.

Attendance at this event is free. Register via Eventbrite by 21st September: https://www.eventbrite.ie/e/drinkaware-autumn-2020-research-briefing-tickets-119087643347
