International Literacy Day - Tues, 8 Sept

To celebrate International Literacy Day, National Adult Literacy Agency (NALA) are hosting two webinars on Tuesday 8 September. 



11.00 am: Reading for pleasure and reading together. This webinar will focus on techniques and strategies for parents and children to enjoy reading together. Register here



12.30 pm: The importance of literacy, numeracy and digital skills in the COVID-19 crisis and beyond. We have a range of interesting speakers who will discuss this and the Government’s new 10-year adult literacy, numeracy and digital skills strategy that will be developed in the coming months. During the week National Adult Literacy Agency are also hosting a series of webinars for members.

National Adult Literacy Agency will look at areas such as health literacy, building reading relationships, family reading and strategies for teaching reading.
