Michael McSwiney's exhibition 'Constellations' opens on Sat, 8 July at 5.30pm.
Michael McSwiney’s new exhibition, ‘Constellations’ carries the viewer into terrain both eerily familiar and hauntingly new. Through his mature, layered language of pours, drips, accretions, sprays and glazes, McSwiney generates brooding, colour-rich panoramas that are at once desolate, haunting and beautiful.
McSwiney has presented solo exhibitions at Garter Lane Arts Centre Waterford, Linenhall Art Centre Mayo, Sirius Art Centre Cork, Droichead Art Centre Drogheda, Source Art Centre Tipperary, Kenmare Buttermarket Kerry and Draoicht Art Centre Dublin. He is represented in collections in Ireland, Europe and internationally. ‘Constellations’ runs from 8 - 29 July 2023.
