Auditions - Musical Director & Choreographer Vacancies

The Playhouse is seeking two outstanding actors with a particular skill in multi rolling. 

MICHAEL Miller playing age 40 - 60, a, somewhat pompous man in a blue suit with a T-shirt and trainers. Trendy dad. Very caring and witty. MULTI - ROLE

SEAN playing age (late teens - 20s) - possibly bearded, a bit ragged – MULTI ROLE

BOTH ACTORS MUST SHOW AN EXCEPTIONAL CAPABILITY FOR MULTIPLE CHARACTER PORTRAYAL

These roles are for an exciting new project exploring a father – son relationship and the difficulty in trying to understand mental health and its effect on love. 

IMPORTANT NOTE: These roles are to explore an excerpt of the play and would involve a week’s work, with possibility of full production in Feb with a premiere in first week of April.

ALL WORK IS PAID EQUITY including the excerpt exploration.

Choreographer / movement coach Vacancy

The Playhouse are seeking applications from an experienced Musical Director / vocal coach and an experienced choreographer / movement coach to help deliver and design a new musical theatre and cultural wellbeing aspect to the Playhouse’s work.

This  9 month project, which would involve weekly rehearsal at the Playhouse has the ultimate goal of training our indigenous talent to a conservatoire level in preparation for their participation in the world premiere of a new Musical: The White Handkerchief by Liam Campbell and Brian O’Doherty.
