AkiDwA@20 Masterclass Series, 22 Apr
This first “AkiDwA@20” masterclass will be delivered by Dr. Salome Mbugua, who will speak on "Striving for Equality - Two Decades of Building Resilience".
AkiDwa are hosting the weekly masterclasses starting on Thursday 22 April from 6-7pm, as part of the organisation’s 20th Anniversary celebrations.
Dr Mbugua will share her strategies in developing AkiDwA, the first migrant led organisation in Ireland and will cover the areas of:
(1)Mobilisation,
(2) Building community resilience,
(3) Campaigning, as a key strategy to achieve change,
(4) Partnership - the Pros and Cons and
(5) Access to rights - being at the table.
Pamela Toyin Ogunwusi, freelance Journalist and Author, will facilitate this masterclass.
