ABOUT WOMEN’S AID
Women’s Aid is a national, feminist organisation working to prevent and address the impact of domestic violence and abuse. They do this by advocating, influencing, training, and campaigning for effective responses to reduce the scale and impacts of domestic abuse on women and children and providing high quality, specialised, integrated, support services.
Women's Aid is seeking a Fundraising Executive to join its growing team. This role is integral to supporting the fundraising strategy, working closely with the Fundraising Manager and Project Leaders across multiple fundraising programmes.
The Fundraising Executive reports directly to the Fundraising Manager, providing general support to the department with a primary focus on supporting Individual Giving but with support to Community, Digital and Corporate fundraising as required. This role will collaborate with a second Fundraising Executive who also provides general support to the department with a primary focus on supporting Community & Digital fundraising. This role is a great opportunity for a detail orientated, communicative, and positive individual to make a meaningful contribution to Women's Aid's impact on the lives of women and children.
The Fundraising Executive will have experience in fundraising, ideally individual giving, and will be prepared to support our regular donors through maintaining relationships and new supporters, as well as driving key campaigns. The role includes, administration, donor care, financial reporting, CRM management, and updating and presenting training materials.
The ideal candidate is someone with strong communication and interpersonal skills, and a customer / donor centric approach to their work. If you’re a creative, solutions focused, self-starter with previous fundraising experience who is excited about this role, about the ambition in fundraising, and committed to the impact of Women’s Aid, we would love to hear from you!
