Social Care Worker – Balbriggan Day Service(Maternity Leave Cover)

Social Care Worker, Balbriggan. Specified purpose role, 35–39hrs. Support adults with disabilities in a person-centred day service.

Locations: Balbriggan, Co. Dublin
Contract: Specified Purpose (Maternity Leave)
Hours: 35–39 hours per week
Salary: €39,100 – €56,349 (FTE). Actual salary will be pro rata based on contracted hours.

About Us

Prosper Fingal supports adults with intellectual disabilities and autism to live full, independent, and connected lives. We are currently recruiting a Social Care Worker to join our Day Service team to provide maternity leave cover in Balbriggan, County Dublin.

Important Note on CORU Registration

CORU registration is mandatory for all Social Care Worker positions.
Newly qualified graduates may apply; however, full CORU registration must be in place before an offer of employment can be accepted.

The Role

As a Social Care Worker, you will support service users to:

  • Build independence and daily living skills
  • Participate in community, creative, and social activities
  • Develop confidence, wellbeing, and meaningful relationships

You will be part of a professional, person-centred, and supportive team committed to delivering high-quality services.

Requirements

  • CORU registration as a Social Care Worker (essential)
  • QQI Level 7/8 Degree in Social Care or a related qualification and/or significant relevant experience leading to CORU registration
  • Strong communication and IT skills
  • Full, clean manual driving licence
  • Experience in disability services (desirable)
  • Knowledge of New Directions (advantageous)
