Who we are:
Sonas Domestic Violence Charity is the largest frontline provider of domestic abuse support services for women and children in Ireland. For over 30 years, we have delivered safety, refuge, and hope to families experiencing domestic violence. Each year, more than 1,250 women and children rely on our services across the greater Dublin region.
Our work spans Refuges, Safe Homes, and Community Outreach, supporting women and children who are forced to leave their homes due to domestic abuse. We are committed to delivering compassionate, trauma‑informed, and empowering support at every stage of their journey.

Relief Support Worker - on demand
What You Will Bring
- Strong ability to assess support needs, develop individual support plans, and work from a clear understanding of social justice, domestic abuse, and gender‑based violence.
- Solid knowledge of child protection, welfare, and safety frameworks.
- Strong IT skills, including experience with databases; familiarity with Salesforce is an advantage.
- Experience in case management and interagency collaboration with statutory and voluntary partners.
