Operational Manager
Involve CLG is recruiting for an Operational Manager.
To lead and coordinate the delivery of high-quality, professional youth services across Involve CLG, working collaboratively with Youth Work Project Co-ordinators, Managers and the CEO. The role will drive service development, consistency and continuous improvement, and play a key role in implementing the Involve Strategic Plan.
Reporting to: CEO
Salary Scale: €46,000.00 – €50,000.00
Main Duties
- Lead the coordination and completion of funding and compliance reports, ensuring all regulatory and funder requirements are met, and contribute to the development and submission of new funding applications.
- Develop, implement and monitor operational implementation plans for all funding streams, ensuring alignment with the organisation’s strategic goals and service priorities.
- Work in partnership with HR to plan and coordinate recruitment processes
- Identify, research and assess new funding opportunities, bringing recommendations forward to support organisational sustainability and growth.
- Build and maintain collaborative working relationships with Youth Services nationally and at European level, representing Involve CLG as appropriate.
- Ensure all projects are delivered in line with funding agreements, governance requirements and Involve CLG policies, embedding strong quality assurance and risk management practices.
- Participate in the implementation of policies and structures developed as part of the UBU process.
Administrative Role
- Liaise with the CEO and Financial Controller to oversee funding applications and keep all records as required
- Support, where necessary, the completion of the Weekly PRFs, Timesheets and attendance records etc.
- Coordinate in person and online support sessions to each of the regional projects
- Prepare and deliver summary reports for Board of Management meetings
- Carry out additional duties as assigned by the CEO, as appropriate to the post
Support and Supervision
- Participate in all monitoring, support, supervision and appraisal procedures of staff
- Address any staff concerns with the support of the CEO
- Sign off on all TOIL, leave Requests and timesheets.
- Identify and plan training and development opportunities for staff and volunteers.
Team
- Ensure communications keep the team informed
- Support Administration at the National Office as required
- Attend Staff meetings, team activities and training as required
Personal
- Youth, Community, Educational Qualifications level 6 or higher required, or equivalent.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work across a range of work tasks, managing to deadlines and prioritising workload.
- Excellent attention to detail & evidence of well-developed written skills
- Commitment to team-work and supporting others to action organisational objectives.
- Proactive and self-motivated individual with excellent administrative skills.
- Full driving licence and access to own car.
- Possess an ability to work on their own initiative
