MOVE Ireland is seeking to appoint new Non-Executive Board Trustees to join our 
Board as we continue to grow and strengthen our impact, in line with our ‘From Harm to 
Hope’ strategic plan (2025-2029).

We are particularly interested in candidates with experience or insight in one or more of 
the following areas:
• Human Resources / People Management
• Fundraising, income generation, or donor engagement
• Domestic, Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (DSGBV) sector expertise
• Non-native English speakers, and those who bring diverse cultural or linguistic 
perspectives

As a Board Trustee, you will contribute to good governance, strategic oversight, and the 
long-term sustainability of MOVE Ireland, in line with the Charity Governance Code.

Board Trustees will have the opportunity to develop new and existing skills, expand their 
network, and promote and advance good governance of MOVE Ireland. We welcome 
applications from individuals who share our values and are committed to improving 
outcomes for those affected by domestic, sexual and gender-based violence.
