In this role, you’ll play a vital part in managing a wide range of HR functions, from payroll and benefits to recruitment and employee relations, ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies.

Job Title: HR Generalist
Reports to: HR Manager
What You’ll Do:
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage payroll processing and benefits administration, including pensions and EAP.
- Prepare HR reports and support employee lifecycle activities like exit interviews.
- Facilitate internal communications, attendance monitoring, and welfare activities.
- Assist in developing performance management and learning initiatives.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.
- Ensure compliance with legal and company policies, updating HR policies as needed.
- Maintain HR systems and accurate employee data.
- Oversee attendance tracking and contribute to process improvements.
- Participate in meetings and represent the HR team proactively.
Who we are looking for:
- Hands-on experience with payroll software (e.g., Sage), HRIS systems, and related IT applications.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
- Demonstrates confidentiality, professionalism, and a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise, and work effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Experience working within the NGO sector is a plus but not essential.
Hours: The position is Part-time (4 days / 30 hours per week)
Salary: €44,000 - €46,900 FTE
Holidays 22 Days plus additional time off over the Christmas period.
