Empowering Communities Coordinator

Seeking a collaborative coordinator to support delivery of the Empowering Communities programme in north west Dublin.

This is a permanent role subject to funding availability. 

It is full time (35 Hours per week) with occasional evening/weekend work and is located in Ballymun. 

The salary offered is DNP Officer Level 2 scale (€34,133 - €51,980) at a point that is commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Overview of the role: The Empowering Communities Programme (ECP) uses a Community Development approach to address social exclusion and the impact of poverty. The ECP aims to empower local communities to craft their own responses to area-based poverty, social exclusion and the resulting consequences with the support of the relevant Local Community Development Committee. The ECP Coordinator focusses on supporting communities in Finglas South B and Cabra West B Electoral Divisions, by providing team coordination and oversight of the Empowering Communities Programme at DNP and taking an active role in the active community development work.
