Clondalkin Community Facilities - Management Team

Youth & Family Work Manager, Sports & Wellbeing Manager, Schools & Community Engagement Manager

Clondalkin Community Facilities (CCF) is a newly established organisation responsible for
the management, governance, and operation of three community centres in North
Clondalkin. YMCA Dublin has been engaged by CCF to oversee the day-to-day
management and delivery of services across the community centres in Rowlagh, Neilstown,
and Balgaddy, Dublin 22, on behalf of the CCF Board.

As part of this exciting new development, we are building a dynamic team and recruiting for
three key management positions working across all three community centres:
Youth & Family Work Manager
The Youth & Family Work Manager will lead the development, coordination, and evaluation
of a diverse range of youth and family programmes. The role will oversee the day-to-day
operation and ongoing development of services for young people aged 10–25, including
outreach, centre-based, and digital youth work across all three sites.
 Sports & Wellbeing Manager
The Sports & Wellbeing Manager will promote a culture of active participation by increasing
access to sport, wellbeing initiatives, and physical activity opportunities. The role will focus
on reducing barriers to participation and creating inclusive opportunities for individuals and
communities experiencing disadvantage.
Schools & Community Engagement Manager
The Schools & Community Engagement Manager will work to address social exclusion and
the impacts of poverty and marginalisation within the Clondalkin community. Using a
community development approach, the role will strengthen local capacity by building
partnerships, developing programmes, engaging with schools and community stakeholders,
identifying local needs, and supporting collaborative responses. Strong communication,
facilitation, and relationship-building skills are essential.

These community centres will support children, young people, families, and the wider
community through inclusive, community-led programmes and services. This is a unique
opportunity to play a leading role in shaping vibrant community hubs and creating positive
opportunities across Clondalkin.

Why Join Us?
For over 175 years, YMCA Dublin has been empowering individuals and strengthening
communities. These leadership roles offer the opportunity to be part of something
meaningful and make a lasting impact where it is needed most.
