Aware Online Services Coordinator

We are seeking a proactive and organised professional to support the delivery and development of our online mental health education programmes.

We are seeking a proactive and organised professional to support the delivery and development of our online mental health education programmes. This role focuses on coordinating the Life Skills Online programme, supporting and training volunteers, and ensuring high-quality service delivery in line with Aware’s clinical framework. 

The successful candidate will play a key part in managing digital education programmes, promoting mental health supports, and contributing to service improvements, while managing volunteers and working collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders to improve outcomes for those impacted by depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder.

About the role: 

• This is a specified purpose post of 6 months at 22.5 hours per week (3 full days per week) 

• This is primarily a service development and administrative role focused on supporting our volunteers, developing and promoting our online services. 

• Hybrid working is possible with this role, with 1-2 days required in Aware’s Head Office. 

Key responsibilities 

Online Services: 

• Responsible for managing the digital education programmes, providing support, training, monitoring, and feedback to volunteers working on the Life Skills Online programme. 

• Responsible for conducting regular audits of the service to ensure volunteers are following Aware’s clinical framework. 

• Responsible for the scheduling, administration, operational management, and promotion of our digital mental health programme, which includes Life Skills Online, Space for Resilience, Space for Stress, and Space for Depression 

• Responsible for recruiting and training volunteers as per the strategy and targets set out in the Service Plan. 

• Responsible for liaising with external and internal stakeholders as required. • Responsible for oversight of risk issues relating to services, participating in risk meetings and training.

• Support in developing and organising training events in relation to own service, in conjunction with the wider services team. 

• Develop processes and contribute to policies that support the service delivery of our digital mental health programmes. 

Administration and Reporting: 

• Responsible for collating evaluations of the above services, providing statistical analysis and a monthly report on area of responsibility to the Director of Services. 

• Responsible for the management of complaints relating to your area of responsibility. 

• To perform all duties in adherence to the standards, policies, procedures and guidelines developed and implemented by Aware. 

• Any other duties required and deemed necessary by the Director of Services.

Essential Criteria 

• Excellent administrative and technical skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, Team’s, CRM software, Zoom, LMS Software. Proven ability to adapt to new software. 

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills both verbally and written are essential for this role. 

• Strong ability to promote and increase awareness of the programme among key stakeholders. Excellent team player, with a strong capacity to build relationships with various stakeholders associated with the work of Aware and this post specifically. 

• Ability to foster positive relationships and work well with various stakeholders, including volunteers, providing emotional support, guidance and feedback. 

• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.

• Some evening and weekend work is an essential requirement of this role, due to volunteer meetings and occasional training/education days. • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and take responsibility for tasks assigned. 

• Energetic, enthusiastic and flexible. 

• Excellent time management skills and attention to detail.

• Strong report writing skills with consistent weekly and monthly delivery of reports 

• Strong desire to achieve positive outcomes for people who are impacted by mental health challenges and people who use Aware’s services.
