About the Role:
This is a part-time role, up to 16 hours a week for 6 months initially, with a view to increasing further thereafter. You’ll be working with our team to promote the take up and use of AccountsIQ by Irish charities, and to assist them with its design, implementation and post implementation support.
AccountsIQ, is a SORP compliant web-based accounts system. It provides a powerful financial management solution for charities. Enclude has assisted many charities both large and small across the country to successfully adopt AccountsIQ. In line with our goal to reach and support more charities to adopt the AccountsIQ cloud solution we are seeking to recruit an accountant with experience in designing and implementing accounts solutions for organisations to drive this work.
You’ll report into our Head of Finance and be based out of our Dublin 7 office, with hybrid options available.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Business Development & Marketing
- Work with the Marketing Officer to promote the offering.
- Handle enquiries.
- Promote and provide system demos to charities.
- Develop quotes.
- Manage our portfolio of AIQ clients.
- Liaise with AIQ and ExpenseIn.
System Specification and Design
- Gather client requirements.
- Assess, review, and agree chart of accounts structure, cost centres and design options with client.
- Plan, design and build solution.
- Complete data set up and data importation.
- Test, review and sign off the solution.
- Provide user documentation and training.
Post Implementation Support & Enhancements
- Provide first line support.
- Liaise with AIQ on second line support issues.
- Manage activation of user licences.
- Work with clients on system enhancements: e.g. accounts structure, reports.
- Assist with integrations to other platforms – Payroll, ExpenseIn, Salesforce.
Administration and Governance
- Work with the Finance Assistant & Office Manager to
- manage client licences, invoices and accounts
- provide support responses and handle enquires
- Participate in staff meetings.
Requirements
Essential
- Qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA).
- Experience in a finance role and managing a finance function.
- Experience in designing and implementing accounting systems.
- Excellent management, planning, organisational, and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Desirable
- Experience in AccountsIQ – access to a blend of training will be available
- Experience in non-profit accounting & reporting.
