The Future is Community: Local, EU, & General Election Campaigning

The Future is Community is The Wheel's central campaigning platform for 2024 and beyond. With this message, we're advocating for a thriving community and voluntary sector at the heart of our communities. We encourage all members to follow and get involved with the campaigns across the election and budget cycles this year — they have been developed based on your input, and your support is essential to their success.

The next 12 months will provide our sector with significant opportunities to influence politicians on the local, national and European stage.

Join our public policy team for this essential training where you will:

  • Learn about key issues impacting our sector and upskill in effectively communicating these to election candidates
  • Gain valuable tips for communicating the impact and importance of the community & voluntary sector for the communities we support
  • Access resources to support your campaigning.
