Corporate Fundraisers Forum (Online Training)

Roles in fundraising are oftentimes challenging, or stressful positions. The average length of time people stay in a fundraising job is 2 years. This forum will build your capacity to develop and manage corporate partnerships and will provide a collaborative platform for fundraisers to learn from each other, share best practices and hear directly from corporates and from corporate partnership experts. 

The training will be delivered through a series of 5 short online sessions and will finish with an in-person event where members will share their learning and Corporate Partnership Action Plans. 

The group topics will be chosen by the members and could include for example: 

Corporate Partnership Fundamentals: 

  • Understanding the basics of corporate partnerships
  • Identifying suitable corporate partners
  • Crafting compelling partnership proposals. 

Effective Communication and Pitching: 

  • Mastering the art of pitching to corporate partners
  • Building a persuasive narrative for your charity
  • Developing strong communication strategies. 

Strategic Partnership Development: 

  • Creating long-term, strategic partnership plans
  • Leveraging corporate partnerships for mutual benefit
  • Managing and nurturing relationships with corporate partners. 

Measuring Impact and ROI: 

  • Setting key performance indicators (KPIs) for partnerships
  • Evaluating the social and financial impact of partnerships
  • Reporting and communicating impact to corporate partners.

  • 10 April (online) 10am – 12pm
  • 1 May (online) 10am – 12pm
  • 22 May (online) 10am – 12pm.   

In-Person Session:

  • 12 June (In person)10am – 1pm.

Your Facilitator

Denise Cranston

Denise Cranston is a 2into3 Management Consultant and Head of 2into3’s Partnerships Practice. Denise supports numerous charities and businesses across Ireland to create major, long-term ambitious partnerships. She spent 23 years at Business in the Community NI, leading their Workplace and Community Investment Programmes. This involved working with some of Ireland’s leading companies, supporting senior business leaders to adopt best practice approaches to Staff Wellbeing, Diversity & Inclusion, Social inclusion and Community engagement.
