Women for Election running as an Independent Candidate event
On Thursday, 2 June Women for Election will host a panel discussion with Deputy Marian Harkin, TD for Sligo Leitrim, Senator Alice-Mary Higgins, leader of the Civil Engagement Group in Seanad Éireann, and Thoiba Ahmed, Independent candidate for Letterkenny in the 2019 elections.
We are excited to welcome this panel of experts who between them have experience running as Independent candidates in Local, National, and European elections. If you are considering getting involved in politics as an Independent candidate, this event is not to be missed!
