Webinar: Annual Reporting – Getting Prepared, 4 Oct

The Charities Regulator would like to invite you to the forthcoming webinar, a practical session to assist your charity in preparing and submitting your annual report.  It will also include guidance on confirming your charity’s compliance with the Charities Governance Code.

Time/Date: 1.00pm – 1.45pm, Tuesday, 4 October 2022.

Why is this important?  Filing the report within 10 months of a charity’s financial year end is a requirement under the Charities Act 2009.

Additionally, as the contents of the annual report are published in the online public Register of Charities, it is an important means for your charity to provide basic information to the public on its finances and activities in the previous year.  Research shows a strong link between greater transparency and accountability by charities and public trust in the sector.

Who should come? According to our records, your charity’s annual report to the Charities Regulator is due to be submitted shortly. This webinar is for all charity trustees to help you in ensuring your charity stays up to date and compliant with charity law. (If your charity has recently submitted your annual report, thank you.)

  • How to prepare and complete the Annual Report form
  • How to complete and update the Charities Governance Code section of the Annual Report
