Volunteer Programme Creator at Southwest Clare Community Radio
We are looking for creative volunteers, with a strong interest in their local community, to research, produce, and present new content for our community radio station.
This could be short pieces, for inclusion in existing programmes, or complete programmes of 30 to 60 minutes and can include a wide range of topics, from local people and stories to music, arts and more.
Learn to write and script programme content, conduct interviews, record, present and produce radio shows that will appeal to a local audience of all ages and interests.
This role can be based at the station, or you can work remotely – or do a bit of both.

Here at Raidio Corca Baiscinn we are committed to providing free training to all members of the community. We have experienced media professionals who are happy to share their skills with the public to help people get on air and express themselves in a progressive, friendly and welcoming environment. So join us, and learn how to perform a variety of jobs from broadcasting and research to fundraising and administration.
This role is open to all, but the following skills and interests would really help you to get the most out of it;
• A genuine interest in radio and in your local community
• Willingness to learn about the relevant guidelines and broadcasting laws
• Enthusiasm for meeting new people and building connections
• Ability to work as part of a team, or a desire to learn how to collaborate
• Good communication skills, or a desire to improve them.
