Traveller Mental Health Action Plan Webinar, 25 May

The Specialist Group established to develop the National Traveller Mental Health Action Plan 2027-2030 warmly invites Traveller organisations and members of the Traveller community from across Ireland to attend a webinar on the Traveller Mental Health Action Plan taking place on Monday, 25 May at 2:00pm.

The webinar will provide an update on the work of the Specialist Group for the development of the National Traveller Mental Health Action Plan 2027-2030, and will give information about how you can engage with the upcoming public consultation to have your say.

The webinar will be opened with remarks from Minister for Mental Health Mary Butler. It will be co-chaired by Catherine Brogan and Margaret Casey, Specialist Group representatives, and include contributions from:

  • Oisín Murphy, Department of Health and Specialist Group Secretariat 
  • Dr Thomas McCann, Director of the Traveller Counselling Service, Specialist Group representative and long-standing Traveller mental health advocate
  • Mary Helen Connors, Lived Experience Reference Group representative and Specialist Group member.

Traveller organisations and members of the Traveller community from across Ireland are invited to join the webinar.
