Think Pink - Breast Cancer Awareness Month: Bilingual Community, 10 Oct
In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Grupo Mulheres do Brasil – Núcleo Irlanda invites you to join us for a bilingual (Portuguese–English) community event dedicated to fostering dialogue, sharing knowledge, and raising awareness about breast cancer.
What to Expect
The program will cover:
- The importance of early detection and prevention
- Dispelling myths and misconceptions about cancer
- Building support networks
- Understanding Breast Screening and diagnostic test.
We are honoured to welcome the Marie Keating Foundation, with a nurse specialist who will provide evidence-based guidance, answer your questions, and share valuable resources for breast health. Joining them is Cynthia Cravo, Patient Advocate and activist, bringing her perspective as a patient advocate to the community.
The event will also feature Dr. Karina Moreira, a Brazilian gynecologist with over 20 years of experience, participating via video to share her knowledge and insights on breast health.

This event, organized by the Mulheres do Brasil – Ireland Chapter, brings together activists, healthcare professionals, survivors, families, and the wider public to encourage awareness, inclusivity, and informed action.
