“Stay Safe Online”: Workshop at the Kells Family Resource Centre, Co Meath, 21 Oct at 10.30 am

Join us at the Kells Family Resource Centre on Friday 21st of October for our "Stay Safe Online" workshop!

October is Cyber Security Awareness Month. Today, people of all ages frequently become victims of cyberattacks. That means that personal information that is dear to you, or even your finances, could end up in the hands of a cybercriminal.

We believe that prevention is the key. So we would like to show you how to stay safe from such attacks.

What you’ll be learning:

  • How to manage your email, banking, and social media passwords
  • How to recognize internet and telephone scams
  • How to keep your banking and finances safe
  • How to ward off cyberbullies
  • How to make sure your personal data is safe on the web
  • How to keep your family and loved ones safe.

The info session will start with of a brief presentation, followed by a group discussion, a quiz, and a chance to win a prize!
