Sponsorship request for voluntary crochet and knitting projects
A CORK crocheting enthusiast is seeking help for to knit/crochet 60 scarves, 60 hats and 15 Blankets/sofa throws and then donate them to Jack and friends for Autistic children charity shop in Bandon, St. Vincent de Paul Bandon and Bandon Community Hospital.
Dermot Hegarty is a community volunteer from Bandon who first started knitting to support his mental health.
He was introduced to the hobby after he joined his local Family Support and Community Wellbeing centre as a secretary in 2014.
Mr Hegarty now wants to put his skills to good use for his community.
He's looking for a small sponsorship to purchase an Express knitting machine and sponsorship of any amount to purchase wool/yarn.
