The theme of the National Disability Authority's Annual Conference 2019 is: Implementing the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UNCRPD).

The conference will provide an opportunity to share valuable Irish and international experience and to learn from other countries who have navigated the implementation and review process. In particular, the conference will focus on how the UNCRPD can be used to drive policy development in order to deliver positive change for people with disabilities.



The conference will be of interest to:

  • policy makers
  • public sector officials
  • disability rights organisations
  • local authority officials
  • individuals with disabilities and their families.
