NEW Remote Learning: Working with Guilt Workshop

Time: 09.30 - 16.30 

This is a new one day online workshop. The training will focus on the emotion of guilt and how childhood attachment can often create a guilt complex. Guilt will be differentiated from other emotions, while its developmental origins will also be explored. Interpersonal Symptoms of guilt such as submissiveness, obsessiveness, feelings of inferiority and constant states of doubt will be explored together with the self image of the person struggling with guilt. Therapeutic interventions will be outlined together with the specifics of a therapeutic relationship designed to speak to people suffering from intense feelings of guilt or an underlying guilt complex.

Suitable for: Psychologists, Counsellors, working with addictions, Psychotherapists, Nurse Practitioners, Youth Workers, Social Care Workers

Members of The Psychological Society of Ireland and The Addiction Counsellors of Ireland can earn Learning credits/CPD points for completing this workshop.
