Posted on 22 Mar 2021

Date: 22 & 23 April 2021

Time: 09.30 - 16.30 (GMT+1) each day

This new two day workshop delivered online by Dr. Kevin Fehin aims to provide an introduction to the ideas and concepts involved in psychodynamic psychotherapy. It will explore attitudes, values and beliefs about human nature from a psychodynamic perspective and provide an understanding of psychopathology and presenting symptoms from this viewpoint.

Some of the applications of psychodynamic thinking both within and outside the clinical setting are introduced. There will also be opportunities for thinking about the place of psychodynamic ideas in working with mental health.

This workshop will be delivered live on Zoom: The course will allow you to interact with your trainer and other participants in a virtual classroom where, in addition to the workshop content, there will be time built in for live discussions, question & answer sessions and skills practice. You can access the course wherever you have an internet connection; on a desktop, tablet or even a smartphone.

Suitable for: Qualified mental health professionals and those nearing the end of their training or those with an interest in psychotherapy.

Members of The Psychological Society of Ireland and The Addiction Counsellors of Ireland can earn Learning credits/CPD points for particpating in this workshop.
