New Charities Governance Code – Free Training Available (Ennis, 8 May & Castlebar, 24 May)
As part of our commitment to creating regional spaces for charities, community and voluntary organisation and social enterprises to network locally and share the great things happening in communities, during 2019 The Wheel is including a special focus on the new Charities Governance Code at local Meet, Share and Learn events.
The Charities Regulator published the Charities Governance Code in late 2018. All registered charities in Ireland must comply with this new standard by 2020.
These free forums provide an overview of the Code, its requirements and the supports available from The Wheel to help organisations comply.
Upcoming Meet, Share and Learn events are in Ennis, Co. Clare on 8 May from 7-9pm and in Castlebar, Co. Mayo on 29 May from 2-4.30pm.
The sessions are hosted by The Wheel’s local representatives.
