Join Galway Rape Crisis Centre Psychological Support Team – Make a Real Difference!

Galway Rape Crisis Centre (GRCC) is now recruiting volunteers (aged 25+) to support survivors of sexual assault and rape through our 24/7 Psychological Support Team in a support capacity at the Sexual Assault Treatment Unit (SATU), Galway.

What We Offer:
✅ Comprehensive 10-day training carried out over 5 weekends (Aug 9 – Oct 12, 2025, 9am–4pm)
✅ Monthly supervision & ongoing support
✅ Out-of-pocket expenses covered during cases
✅ A chance to be part of real change.

Who We’re Looking For:
🔹 Empathic, non-judgemental, and committed individuals
🔹 25+ years of age
🔹 Able to attend 100% of training & 10hrs personal therapy
🔹 Based within 40 mins of Galway City
🔹 Available 3x/month (flexible roster) for a 2-year commitment.

Selection Includes:
📄 Online application
🗣 Interview & Garda vetting
📚 60 hours training + 3-month shadowing period.
