Irish Music Charity Receives Winning Donation from Ecclesiastical Insurance Ireland
Music Network, Ireland’s national music development organisation, has received a €5,700 (£5,000) donation as part of the Movement for Good Awards – Arts & Culture Special Draw, promoted by Ecclesiastical proudly part of the Benefact Group.
The Benefact Group’s flagship giving programme, now in its seventh year, supports charities across Ireland and the UK. This final special draw of 2025 recognised organisations whose core purpose is the advancement of arts, culture or heritage. The ten winning charities were chosen from thousands of public nominations submitted between the 10th and 19th of October 2025.
On receiving the award Sharon Rollston, Chief Executive of Music Network said:
‘We are absolutely thrilled to be the recipient of the Movement for Good win this month. The award will directly support our community programmes. These create opportunities for people of all ages and abilities to participate in and connect through making music. Led by professional musicians, our programmes are inclusive and fun, and highlight the many health and wellbeing benefits that creative expression can bring.
We are extremely grateful to receive this award which will help us make an even bigger impact in the coming year.’
