We have lived through conflict and continue to live through new social tensions.
We know that peace isn’t something that just "happens."
It's built slowly and carefully by communities—through conversation, shared spaces, and small peace-focused actions.
Paths to Peace https://pathstopeace.eu/ explores how tourism can be used intentionally for peacebuilding — as a business, a project, or an experience that brings people together rather than divides them.
Across Europe;

Paths to Peace teaches them for FREE with other youth and experts how to build real ideas that strengthen the connection between communities.

4 European Workshops
4 Irish Mentoring Sessions and
1 European Hackathon.
Participants design ONE tourism idea that builds peace in their country. Supported by mentors, experts, and other youth across Europe.
At the final Hackathon, teams present their idea and compete for a €500 prize
We are recruiting across Europe
Young People (18–30)
We’re looking for young people who care about community and peace and want to better their community or the world. They will:
• Join 4 interactive European workshops
• Work with mentors to shape one real idea
• Present it at a European Hackathon
• Compete for a €500 prize
No experience needed. Just interest and commitment.
We need Mentors –
If you have experience in tourism, community development, youth work, peacebuilding, or social enterprise, we would value your involvement.
You do not need formal mentoring qualifications.
You will guide a small team of young people (alongside experts and project partners) through idea development — and you will be paid for your time.
You can be part of this because your story matters.
