Invitation to Tender – ADAPT Kerry Charity Shop Operational Plan

Expressions of Interest Sought: Consultancy for facilitating development of an Operational Business Plan for the ADAPT Kerry Charity Shop 2023-2026.

About ADAPT Kerry

Adapt Kerry Women's Refuge in Tralee Co. Kerry, which operates Kerry Women's Refuge & Support Service, is a Registered Charity established in 1992 to provide a specialist response to women and children in County Kerry whose lives are affected by Domestic Violence.

The key services which we offer are:

  • Safe and secure emergency accommodation for women and their children forced to leave home due to Domestic Violence and/or coercive control
  • 24 hour telephone support
  • A county-wide Outreach Support Service across Kerry
  • Court Accompaniment and Advocacy

To assist in funding these support services, we operate the Adapt Kerry Charity Shop which sells a wide range of goods, including clothing, furniture, books, jewellery and accessories.

Development of the ADAPT Kerry Charity Shop Operational Plan

ADAPT Kerry is inviting tenders from suitably qualified individuals or organisations to assist in the production of an Operation Business Plan for the ADAPT Kerry Charity Shop 2023 - 2026.

The operational business plan will be expected to include the following –

  • Market Analysis
  • Marketing strategy
  • Advertising and Promotion
  • Communications and Social Media
  • Brand development
  • Sales Strategy
  • Research and Development – feasibility of potential developments
  • Staff and Management Operations
  • Volunteer Management and Development
  • Financial Plan
  • Funding Requirements and identification of opportunities
  • Explore opportunities for training and empowerment
  • Ensure core values of organisation are mirrored across all departments of the organisation
  • That the plan harnesses the potential of a social enterprise working in the violence against women sector.

Interested parties should include:

  • Descriptions of their experience in previous similar projects or contracts.
  • An initial overview of the process, timelines, and methodologies to be used.
  • The cost both ex vat and including vat for the delivery of the outputs in the sought-after timeline.
  • List of previous clients for whom similar work has been delivered.
  • Brief CV of the person(s) who will be actually doing the work.
