Invitation: RISE Resilient Communities online workshop, 17 June

Gairmeach Training Limited, an Irish company specialising in vocational education across Ireland and beyond, and currently working on RISE Resilient Communities, an Erasmus+ project focused on disaster preparedness through adult education, digital learning and community-led innovation, invites you to join our online orientation workshop on Wednesday, 17 June, from 11:00am to 1:00pm Irish time (12:00–14:00 CET). 

The RISE project focuses on disaster preparedness and community-led recovery, equipping educators, community leaders and organisations with the skills and tools to anticipate, prepare for and recover from emergencies. Given your role in supporting local communities, we think you'll find real value in both the resources and the conversations.

This workshop will give you a first glance at our resources, our Best Practice Guide, our Case Study Compendium compiling proven recovery approaches from across Europe, and an interactive database of recovery strategies and tools you can apply locally. There will also be opportunities to network with experts in your field.

The session is hands-on and interactive. We'll hold a roundtable discussion on how to make community-led recovery something that lasts, and hear real stories from across the partnership. As an EU-funded project, everything we create is free and open, so all the resources are yours to keep and use afterwards.
