iDonate to provide online signing solution for CHY 3/4 forms
iDonate have been engaging with Revenue over recent months and are delighted to announce they have been granted approval to provide an online version of the CHY 3 and CHY 4 forms. This is a major step forward which in effect means that donors will be able to complete and eSign these forms online without the need to print and post them. Our solution will give any qualifying donations processed through iDonate.ie immediate access to complete and sign the CHY 3/4 forms online.
Setup in 2018, CharityTaxBack.ie was built to raise and improve awareness of the Charitable Donations Tax Relief Scheme. From discussions with iDonate members, it’s clear the current pen and paper process is slow and cumbersome. Charities are also investing heavily in direct mail campaigns asking donors to complete and post CHY 3/4 forms with a very low return rate.
The solution developed by iDonate will have a very positive impact on how CHY 3/4 forms are processed and will certainly result in more donors completing the forms. At the point of donation iDonate will give donors immediate access to complete and eSign a CHY3/4 form. These forms will then be securely forwarded to benefiting charity.
Final plans are now being put in place in order to have this new process in place ASAP so that charities running Christmas campaigns through iDonate can benefit fully from this new process.
