HUGG Walks West Cork

HUGG, Ireland’s national suicide bereavement organisation, is dedicated to supporting adults bereaved by suicide. We provide FREE practical information and emotional support after a suicide occurs. We are pleased to announce we have extended our peer support service offering HUGG Walks - a welcoming space where people bereaved by suicide can get outdoors and connect with others who truly understand.

HUGG Walks 
Led by an experienced walker and supported by a HUGG volunteer, each walk offers the benefits of movement, nature and connection.
If you are over 18, you are welcome to come along. HUGG Walks is a safe, non-judgmental space for mutual support and shared understanding.


Our next walk is taking place at Esknamucky walk, Glengarriff Nature Reserve, West Cork, 10.30am on Sunday, 11th January 2026

This course, which represents a collaboration between the Law Society of Ireland and The Wheel, Ireland’s national charity association, provides practitioners and those working in charitable, social enterprise and community organisations with an overview of the law and best practice in the relevant areas. The course has a very practical emphasis and will equip participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to maintain integrity and uphold standards.
