We are seeking tutors with expertise in areas including: 

Access Education

Adult Literacy for Life, Cúpla Focail, Content Creation, Creative Writing, Tai Chi, Yoga, Pilates, Container Gardening

Further Education (QQI)

Business Administration with Digital Skills, Community Care, Community Development, Early Learning & Care

Higher Education (with SETU Carlow)

BA in Applied Addiction Studies and Community Development, BA in Leadership and Community Development

About the Role

Successful tutors will:

  • Deliver engaging, learner-centred education to adult learners.
  • Create welcoming, inclusive learning environments where every learner can thrive.
  • Plan and facilitate high-quality classes using innovative teaching approaches.
  • Support learners to achieve their educational, personal and professional goals.
  • Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback where appropriate.
  • Work collaboratively with programme coordinators and the wider education team.

Teaching opportunities may be delivered in-person at our Tallaght campus, online or through blended learning, depending on programme requirements.

About You

You will have:

  • A qualification in your subject area.
  • Experience teaching, training or facilitating adult learners.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A learner-centred approach and commitment to inclusive education.
  • The ability to motivate and support learners from diverse backgrounds.

Desirable:

  • A recognised teaching or training qualification.
  • Experience delivering QQI-accredited programmes.
  • Experience in community education, further education or higher education.
