CALLING ALL CRITICAL THINKERS & COMMUNITY BUILDERS!

Join us in Cavan on Saturday, 29 Nov (2:30 PM - 4:30 PM) for a unique, FREE public event as part of our 'Change the Story, Change the World' project.

If you've ever felt powerless in the face of social injustice or climate issues, this event is for you. This is not a passive lecture or a traditional performance—it is a live, interactive exploration using the innovative methodology of Forum Theatre (part of Augusto Boal’s Theatre of the Oppressed).

Your attendance and participation in our event takes the form of a 'Spect-Actor,' meaning you can choose to be a critical observer or an active intervener.

What You Can Expect:

- Watch a scene of injustice.

- Analyse the conflict with together with our performers and facilitator.

- (Optional) Shout "STOP!" and jump on stage to test a new solution!

This is a safe, supportive laboratory where we can collectively rehearse alternative approaches to complex, real-world problems. You don't need any theatre experience—just a willingness to think critically and engage actively with your community peers.

Who Should Attend?

1) Youth Workers & Educators: Gain practical insights into participatory learning and Global Citizenship Education methods that you can take back to your own groups.

2) Community Volunteers & Activists: Experiment with new strategies for intervention and conflict resolution in a low-stakes environment.

3) The General Public: Everyone is welcome to join this democratic exploration of how we can collectively change the narrative around pressing societal issues.

Come ready to challenge the story, and empower yourself to change the world!

Seats are strictly limited to ensure quality interaction.
