The performance of any charity is underpinned by the relationship that exists between the CEO/Manager and Chair. The training explores this critical Management/Governance dynamic and is relevant to both seasoned practitioners and those just stepping up to the top job.
Main topics will include:
- Chair/CEO and CEO/Board relationships
- Roles and expectations of Chairs and trustees
- Ensuring boards fulfil their governance role
- Making informed decisions
- Refreshing the Board and finding new trustees
- Case study of where things went wrong
- Developing a learning organisation.
This training will take place 20 & 21 April. The first day will run from 10am - 2pm, and the second from 10am - 12:30pm.
Please note: This course is a full-day, CPD approved course, run online, split over two half-day sessions. The cost of registration is €300. The ticket price is inclusive for two attendees. Both the CEO/Manager & Chair should attend together in order to get the most from this training.
