Attend the First New Solutions Social Innovation Lab Event (Galway, 9 June)
Are you interested in social innovation and how it can bring about positive social change in your community? The New Solutions Social Innovation Lab will be holding their first introductory event at the Portershed, Galway, from 7-9pm on Tuesday, 9 June.
🎟️RSVP here
The New Solutions Social Innovation Lab is a new programme aimed at supporting people to develop social innovation ideas which will address social problems and improve people's lives. The Lab is being rolled out as part of the New Solutions Social Innovation Hub, a broader initiative which is working to build a more supportive ecosystem for social innovation in Ireland.
If you have an early-stage social innovation idea, or just an interest in a social problem that you'd like to do something about, the Lab can help you to shape your thinking into something real and practical. The Lab will comprise a series of workshops and supports that will guide you step-by-step - from exploring a problem, to developing an idea, to testing it in practice, to engaging with follow-on supports that can help you to achieve sustainable impact. Participation in the Lab will be completely free.
At the introductory event on Tuesday, 9 June, you will:
- Get a more detailed overview of what the New Solutions Lab is
- Learn about the supports available to help develop your idea
- Help us to shape the design and content of the Lab
- Meet others who are thinking about creating positive change
- Find out how to apply to take part.
Places at this introductory event are limited. If you would like to attend, please register for free here. Attendance at the introductory event does not commit you to taking part in the Lab itself, nor will it secure your place in the Lab.
Please note that introductory events will also be taking place in Sligo, Dublin, and Cork, as well as online. For further information, please contact info@ldcn.ie.
