The Breakfast Club is Coming to Longford (14 May)

Posted on 22 Apr 2026

And just like that we are at our last Breakfast Club of Season 4 and we are delighted that the Longford Womens Link will host our next Breakfast Club on Leadership and Collaboration at 10am on Thursday, 14 May 2026.

Collaboration is a term used a lot in our sector, as we try to make a social impact. But as leaders how do we use collaboration to get the best result for service users, within our own organisations, across the sector and indeed beyond the sector.

For instance:

  • How do we create and shape compelling visions that encourage the right people to collaborate with us?
  • How do we bring people to the table that are reluctant to be there?
  • How do we make sure that power dynamics are fair, and everyone feels represented in collaborative spaces?

Well, we don’t know, but we found some people who do!

We will be joined by two leaders on the morning. Tara Farrell, CEO of Longford Womens Link and an NGO leader specialising in strategy, organisational performance, governance and equality, with extensive experience at CEO level in the not-for-profit sector.

Anthony Burrowes is currently a, Social Value Manager of SISK, where he supports the development and delivery of social value strategies across projects in Ireland and Europe.

The event, as always, is free to attend and open to anyone at any stage of their leadership journey in the sector, you simply have to register here.
