Application Call Now Open for Scheme to Support National Organisations (SSNO) 2026 – 2029
The Department of Rural and Community Development and the Gaeltacht is now inviting applications from national organisations in the community and voluntary sector under the Scheme to Support National Organisations (SSNO) 2026 – 2029.
The SSNO 2026-2029 is funded by the Department of Community Rural and Community Development and the Gaeltacht. Pobal is responsible for managing the fund, in collaboration with the Department.
The SSNO 2026 – 2029 will provide funding towards the core costs of national community and voluntary organisations in Ireland who:
- Provide support (directly or indirectly) to those most disadvantaged
- Demonstrate good governance
- Deliver services and supports that focus on one or more of the following:
- addressing poverty
- addressing social exclusion
- and promoting equality.
The overall aim of SSNO is to provide multi-annual funding for the core costs of national organisations in the community and voluntary sector to assist them to operate and fund core staff positions.
The closing date for applications is 11 December 2025 at 3pm, applications must be submitted via the MyPobal Portal
