Posted on 17 Oct 2025

Specialist insurer Ecclesiastical Insurance Ireland, proudly part of the Benefact Group, is calling on people across Ireland to nominate charities in the arts, culture and heritage sectors for a chance to receive one of ten €5,700 (£5,000) awards as part of the Movement for Good Awards – Arts & Culture Special Draw.

The nomination window is accepting entries until 19 October 2025, offering charities across Ireland and the UK an opportunity to receive vital funding in recognition of their work preserving and promoting cultural heritage. The ten winning charities will be announced on 24 October 2025.

Now in its seventh year, the Movement for Good Awards is the Benefact Group’s flagship giving programme, donating over €1 million (£1 million) to charities across Ireland and the UK each year. The Arts & Culture Special Draw marks the final major round of the 2025 special awards.  Regular 1K draws will continue until December with the 12 Days of Giving – further details at movementforgood.com

Supporting arts, culture and heritage

This special draw celebrates charities whose core purpose is the advancement of the arts, culture or heritage. Members of the public can nominate their chosen charity at culture.movementforgood.com.

Each nomination helps increase a charity’s chance of being selected, and the process takes less than a minute to complete. Charities can also access a digital design tool to help generate support, allowing them to share customisable messages and graphics across social media and email to encourage nominations.
