Applications Open for the MA in Social Justice and Public Policy - Autumn 2025
Social Justice Ireland is a key partner in the MA in Social Justice and Public Policy at the South East Technological University. This two year part-time programme gives students a unique opportunity to develop a theoretical framework and the deep capacity for analysis, understanding, knowledge, skills and practices needed to engage meaningfully in social change towards a more just and inclusive society focusing particularly on influencing public policy.
The MA in Social Justice and Public Policy is open to anyone interested in social justice, and is ideally suited to people who are presently working in the fields of community, voluntary, social inclusion, environmental organisations, trade unions, public service and religious sectors. The programme is part-time and designed to provide working students the opportunity to apply the tools and skills being learned in their work in real time.
The MA will give students the skills to analyse and challenge the existing policy narrative and propose realistic alternatives. By ensuring that students understand the theoretical framework which underpins different policies, it provides graduates with the necessary skills and experience to exercise an effective role in influencing public policy for social justice.
While the official deadline is 15th August, in practice applications will be considered up until early September and those interested in the course are encouraged to get in touch. More information can be found HERE.
