Group Coaching Programme for Nonprofit Leaders for Autumn / Winter 2025 Open for Registration

The Wheel and the Leadership Academy are delighted to offer our very successful Group Coaching Programme for Nonprofit Leaders for Autumn / Winter 2025.

This is your opportunity to develop your leadership in engaging in a dynamic, practical way of learning that is based on group coaching addressing real-time organisational issues, challenges or workplace opportunities in the company of a small group of your peers.

Deep thinking, reflection, questioning and gaining the perspectives of others about issues for you, your team and your organisation, clarify possible actions and solutions.

Using the proven technique of Action-Learning Labs, these group coaching sessions bring you together in a small, confidential, group setting with your peers and a skilled facilitator.

Who is it for?

This programme is designed for leaders in the nonprofit sector. Leaders come in many forms, not just senior managers. If you are managing groups of people, large projects or other challenging situations this programme is for you. There is an on-boarding process where you can discuss the programme in advance with the facilitator and make sure the programme fits your needs.

What are the outcomes?

This 5-session programme has been developed with nonprofit leaders in mind and will help you to:

• Increase your competence and confidence in handling the challenges of leadership and management.
• Build your self-awareness about your role as a leader.
• Learn by participating in coaching peers and working collaboratively. Develop a coaching approach, learning skills such as active listening and questioning skills to help others gain insight – valuable skills that can be used effectively in your normal working environment.
• mbed learning over a medium to long term period, rather than through a one-off experience.
• Develop a trusted network of peers who normally continue to share thinking long after the formal ‘end’ of the group work.

When will it happen?

The coaching will consist of 5 x 2-hour online sessions. The coaching will take place on:

• 10 October 2025
• 24 October 2025
• 7 November 2025
• 21 November 2025
• 5 December 2025.

What does it cost?

The cost for the programme is €650 for members, non-members pay €900 (see our website for details on how to become a member of The Wheel).

The programme will fill on a first-come-first-served basis, therefore early application is recommended.

Who should attend?

Senior managers, leaders who are keen to have coaching support and enjoy participating and learning in a small group environment. We are particularly encouraging new leaders, who are in a senior leadership role fewer than 24 months.
