Open Call to Teenagers #YSIOpenCall

Posted on 20 Apr 2020

Young Social Innovators (YSI) are looking for young people’s ideas about how to tackle the problems in our communities as a result of COVID-19. This open call is coming after a new research on how young people are feeling about the COVID-19 crisis.

No idea is too big or too small.

Nurses, shop workers, doctors, cleaners, carers, businesses, communities and families are coming together across Ireland to do everything they can to tackle coronavirus - now we are asking young people to come up with ideas for how to tackle the challenges from coronavirus in your community.

Look around your home, your family, your community and see what has changed because of coronavirus. What is working? What is not working? What is bothering you? What can YOU do to help?

Sign up and we’ll help you develop your idea. The ideas with the highest potential for impact will have the opportunity to pitch to a panel of leaders from across business, NGO and Government.

Please share #YSIOpenCall on social media and with any parents, teachers or young people you know - the more ideas the better.

Submit your idea by 31 May.
