Youth Work Manager
The Youth Work Manager will be responsible for providing Strategic Leadership and Operational oversight of our Youth Work Services.
Reporting to the CEO the candidate will be responsible for:
- Ensuring that services are delivered to a high standard, are compliant with relevant legislation and policy and align with the organisation’s strategic objectives
- The leadership, development and management of youth work programmes across the organisation.
- Managing staff and volunteers, overseeing programme planning and evaluation, contributing to organisational governance, and representing the organisation with funders, statutory agencies and other stakeholders.
Skill / Experience
- A recognised qualification at Level 8 or higher in Youth Work, Community Work, Social Care, or a related discipline
- Significant experience (minimum 5 years) in a youth work or community work setting, including management or senior leadership experience
- A strong understanding of the Irish youth work landscape, including relevant legislation, policy and funding environments
- Proven experience in staff management, supervision and team development
- Experience in programme planning, monitoring, evaluation and reporting
- Strong leadership, communication and relationship‑management skills
- Ability to contribute strategically at Senior Management Team level
