Reporting to the CEO the candidate will be responsible for:

• Ensuring that services are delivered to a high standard, are compliant with relevant legislation and policy and align with the organisation’s strategic objectives 
• The leadership, development and management of youth work programmes across the organisation. 
• Managing staff and volunteers, overseeing programme planning and evaluation, contributing to organisational governance, and representing the organisation with funders, statutory agencies and other stakeholders.

Skill / Experience

• A recognised qualification at Level 8 or higher in Youth Work, Community Work, Social Care, or a related discipline
• Significant experience (minimum 5 years) in a youth work or community work setting, including management or senior leadership experience
• A strong understanding of the Irish youth work landscape, including relevant legislation, policy and funding environments
• Proven experience in staff management, supervision and team development
• Experience in programme planning, monitoring, evaluation and reporting
• Strong leadership, communication and relationship‑management skills
• Ability to contribute strategically at Senior Management Team level
