WORKPLACE SUPPORT WORKER (PA)

1 days a week: Wednesdays, (5.5 hrs) Ballintemple, Cork. 

Pay €16.02 to €20.72  per hour

Cork Centre for Independent Living is recruiting a workplace-based support worker (Workplace PA) to work with a young disabled woman supporting her at her workplace Ballintemple in Cork city. 

The Workplace PA supports the disabled person to do their job by providing assistance with workplace tasks such as note taking, typing and support with social media platform, and assisting also with personal care and breaktimes.  The Workplace PA may also accompany the Service User to offsite workplace events using public transport.  Occasionally the workplace might be based in the disabled person’s home. 

The post holder will work under the direction of the Service User and will have excellent communication, IT, and administration skills as well as the skills and experience to assist with aspects of daily living.
